Following on from the official reopening of the Glenesk Folk museum on Friday evening, the Retreat ran a successful fun day on Saturday 23rd June. That was despite the inclement weather which meant that only three of the stalls could not be taken inside the building. Consequently and due to persistent demand, one of them was used in the rain, namely the bungee run, thankfully the Retreat had no liability for participants laundry! Meanwhile, inside in the warmth of the Retreat, there was face painting, story telling, children dressing in Victorian cloths, live music and much more. A great day was had by all and the Glenesk Trust would like to thank all the various individuals and groups who helped make it such a fantastic day, well done to one and all.
