17 May 2008 - The Great Outdoor Challenge comes through Glenesk

Welcome to Glenesk. We hope that after your long walk to Tarfside you will wish to sample Retreat cooking by either coming to the Retreat for a sit down meal, we are open till 6pm, or if later then make use of the carry out service at the campsite. 

We will have our carry out menu's posted up with our telephone number and you can phone your order through. Alternatively one of our members of staff will come to the campsite and take orders.

Although  the Retreat doesn't usually open until 12 midday if you wish breakfast - please phone us the night before and book your breakfast spot and we will open especially for you hungry walkers! Hows that for service?
